37 with her suburbs, °Kedemoth with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her sub38 urbs ; four cities. °And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, 'thel city of refuge for the 'manslayer', and Mahanaim with 39 her suburbs ; °Heshbon with her sub urbs, Jazer with her suburbs ; four (10 cities in all. All these were the cities lof the children of Merari laccording to their families, leven the resti of the families of the Levites; land! their lot iwas' twelve cities. 11 All the cities of the Levites lin the midst of the possession of the chil dren of Israel were forty and eight 42 cities with their suburbs.
