King Lear

King Lear sets into terrifying motion the events that lead to his downfall and madness and to the death of his one true daughter, Cordelia. Shakespeare's great heart-wrenching tale illuminates the mind and heart of an eclipsed king, a man who becomes just another player on a stage of fools. This production was adapted for radio by noted Canadian playwright Michael Cook and stars John Colicos, who has made the role his own over four decades.
