MAKE heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

140. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 141. 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth :

142. 4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. 143. 5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the syna

31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:

32 But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

33 And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.

34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 145. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 146. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before, ye ask him.

147. 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy

36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.

37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now fuli.

38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

150. 12 And forgive us our 1 debts, as we forgive our debtors.

151. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 152. 14 ¶ For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you :

153. 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
