Preface. T is a glad, pleasant opportunity, at the close of another successful year, to dedicate the Second Volume of 'INDIA'S WOMEN' to kind friends and interested readers. To all who care for Missionary news, and to trace the growth of the Church on earth, and the extension of the Saviour's kingdom, this volume must have its peculiar value; whilst to all who love India, and would desire to see it a fair jewel in Emmanuel's crown, it has another and very special interest. We claim for it perusal and prayer, on these and many grounds, and we go forward to our next year's record with renewed faith and hope. Friends at Home and friends in India must alike help to make INDIA'S WOMEN' the best of Missionary periodicals' and a complete success.
