REIGNED TWENTY-THREE YEARS AND EIGHT MONTHS.

From 22nd of August, 1485, to 21st of April, 1509. HENRY VII. was proclaimed king of England on the battle-field of Bosworth. After resting two days, he proceeded towards London, which he entered August 28, 1485, when he offered his three principal standards at St. Paul's church.
