33 And Zelophehad the fon of Hepher had no fons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mah. lah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. 34 These are the families of Manaffeh, and thole that were numbered of them, lifty and two thousand and feven hundred.

35 Thofe are the fons of Ephraim, after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthalaites: of Becher, the family of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the family of the Tabanites.

36 And these are the fons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.

37 Thefe are the families of the fons of Ephraim, according to thofe that were num. bered of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred. There are the fons of Jofeph

after their families.

38 The fons of Benjamin, after their families of Bela, the family of the Belaites: of Athbel, the family of the Afhbelites: of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites:

39 Of Shupham, the family of the Shuphamites of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.

40 And the fons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of drd, the family of the Ardites: and of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.

41 Thefe are the fons of Benjamin, after their families and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and fix hundred.

42 These are the fons of Dan, after their families of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan, af. ter their families.

43 All the families of the Shuhamites, according to thofe that were numbered of them, were threescore and four thousand and four hundred.

44 of the children of Afher, after their families of Jimna, the family of the Jime nites of Jefui, the family of the Jefuites: of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.

45 Of the fons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites: of Malchiel, the Malchielites.

51 Thefe were the numbered of the children of Ifrael, fix hundred thousand and a thousand feven hundred and thirty.

52 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying,

$3 Unto thefe the land fhall be divided for an inheritance, according to the number of

$4To many thou shalt give the more inher Itance, and to few thou shalt give the less

55 Notwithstanding, the land fhall be di vided by loc: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit. 56 According to the lot shall the poethion thereof be divided between many and few. 57 And there are they that were mum. bered of the Levites, after their families: of Gerthon, the family of the Gerthonites: of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites: of Merari, the family of the Merarites.

58 Thefe are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korathites and Kohath begat Amram.

59 And the name of Amram's wife wer Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom ber mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and the bare unto Amram Aaron, and Mofes, and Miriam their fifter.

60 And unto Aaron was born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

61 And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered ftrange fire before the LORD.

62 And thofe that were numbered of them were twenty and three thoufand, all males from a month old and upward for they were not numbered among the children of Ifrael, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Ifrael,

63 Thefe are they that were numbered by Mofes and Eleazar the priest, who num bered the children of Ifrael in the plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho.

64 But among these there was not a ma of them whom Mofes and Aaron the priet numbered, when they numbered the chil dren of Ifrael in the wildernefs of Sinai.

65 For the LORD had faid of them, They fhall furely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, fave Caleb the fon of Jephunneh, and Joflua the fon of Kut CHAP. XXVII.

3 Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them th gathered themfelves together again the LORD in the company of Korah; but died in his own fin, and had no fons.

4 Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, becau he hath no fon? Give unto us therefore poffeftion among the brethren of our father

5 And Mofes brought their caufe befat the LORD.

12 And the LORD fait unto Mofes, Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and fee the land which I have given unto the children of Ifrael.

13 And when thou haft feen it, thou alfo thalt be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother was gathered.

14 For ye rebelled against my commandment in the defert of Zin, in the ftrife of the congregation, to fanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meri. bahin Kadeh, in the wilderness of Zin.

And Mofes fpake unto the LORD, faying,

16 Let the Loan, the God of the fpirits of au fleth, fet a man over the congregation, 17 Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as theep which have no thepherd. 18 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, Take thee jothus the fon of Nun, a man in whom the fpirit, and lay thine hand upon him; 19 And fet him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their fight.

20 And thou halt put fome of thine honour upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Ifrael may be obedient.

21 And he thall stand before Eleazar the prie, who thall aik counsel for him, after the judgment of Urim before the LORD: at his word thail they go cut, and at his word they hall come in, both he, and all the children of Ifrael with him, even all the congregation.

22 And Mofes did as the LORD command

3 And their meat-offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth-deals for a bullock, and two tenth-deals for a ram,

4 And one tenth-deal for one lamb, throughout the feven lambs;

5 And one kid of the goats for a fin-offerIng, to make an atonement for you:

22 And one goat for a fin-offering, befide the continual burnt-offering, and his meat offering, and his drink-offering.

23 And on the fourth day ten bullocks two rams, and fourteen lambs of the Er year without blemish:

24 Their meat-offering, and their drink offerings, for the bullocks, for the rams, an for the lambs, fall be according to thei number, after the manner;

25 And one kid of the goats for a fin-offe ing, befide the continual burnt-offering, meat-offering, and his drink-offering.

26 And on the fifth day nine bullocks two rams, and fourteen lambs of the f year without fpot:

27 And their meat-offering, and their dri offerings, for the bullocks, for the rams, an for the lambs, fall be according to their nu ber, after the manner;

28 And one goat for a fin-offering, be the continual burnt-offering, and his m offering, and his drink-ottering.

29 And on the fixth day eight bulla two rams, and fourteen lambs of the year without blemish :

faying, This is the thing which the LORD
hath commanded.

Alfa man vow a vow unto the LORD, or Twear an oath to bind his foul with a bond; he thall not break his word, he fhall do accord. ing to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

If a woman alfo vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind berfelf by a bond, being in her father's houfe in her youth;

And her father bear her vow and her bond wherewith the hath bound her foul, and her ather shall hold his peace at her: then all her rows thall fland, and every bond wherewith he hath bound her foul fhall ftand.

But if her father difallow her in the day hat he heareth; not any of her vows, or of er bonds, wherewith the hath bound her ul, thailand: and the LORD thall forgive er, because her father difallowed her.

6 And if he had at all an husband when the owed, or uttered aught out of her lips, herewith the bound her foul;

20 And purify all your raiment, and all that is made of skins, and all work of goats' bair, and all things made of wood.

21 And Elcazar the priest faid unto the men of war which went to the battle, This #s the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Mofes;

22 Only the gold, and the filver, the brafs, the iron, the tin, and the lead,

23 Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it ihall be clean; nevertheless, it shall be purified with the water of feparation and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water.

24 And ye shall wash your clothes on the feventh day, and ye thall be clean, and af. terward ye shall come into the camp.

25 And the LORD spake unto Mofes, faying,

26 Take the fum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beaft, thou, and Eleazar the priest, and the chief fathers of the congregation;

27 And divide the prey into two parts, Tetween them that took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the congregation;

28 And levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle one foul of five hundred, both of the perfons, and of the beeves, and of the affes, and of the sheep.

29 Take it of their half, and give it unto Eleazar the priest, for an heave-offering of the LORD.

30 And of the children of Ifrael's half thou fhalt take one portion of fifty, of the perfons, of the beeves, of the affes, and of the flocks, of all manner of beafts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the Labernacle of the LORD.

31 And Mofes and Eleazar the priest did as the LORD commanded Mofes.

32 And the booty, being the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught, was six hundred thousand and feventy thousand

and five thousand sheep,

33 And threefcore and twelve thoufand Deeves,

34 And threefcore and one thousand affes,

35 And thirty and two thousand perfons in all, of women that had not known man by lying with him.

36 And the half, which was the portion of them that went out to war, was in number three hundred thousand and feven and thirty thousand and five hundred sheep: 37 And the LORD's tribute of the theep was fix hundred and tnreefcore and fifteen.

38 And the beeves were thirty and fix thoufand, of which the LORD's tribute was three fcore and twelve

39 And the affes were thirty thousand and five hundred, of which the LORD's tribute was threefcore and one.

40 And the persons suere fixteen thousand, of which the LORD's tribute was thirty and to perfons.

The voluntary oblation

41 And Mofes gave the tribute which wa the LORD's heave-offering unto Eleazar the prieft; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

42 And of the children of Ifrael's half which Mofes divided from the men that warred,

43 (Now the half that pertained unto the congregation, was three hundred thoufand and thirty thousand and feven thousand and five hundred sheep,

44 And thirty and fix thousand beeves, 45 And thirty thoufand affes and fit hundred,

46 And fixteen thousand perfons,)

47 Even of the children of Ifrael's half, Mofes took one portion of fifty, both of man and of beaft, and gave them unto the Le vites which kept the charge of the taber nacle of the LORD; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

48 And the officers which were over thousands of the hoft, the captains of the Tands, and captains of hundreds, came near unto Mofes :

49 And they faid unto Mofes, Thy fervant have taken the fum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacketh a one man of us.

50 We have therefore brought an oblatio for the LORD, what every man hath gotten of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, ring car-rings, and tablets, to make an atoneme for our fouls before the LORD.

51 And Mofes and Eleazar the priest to the gold of them, even all wrought jew

52 And all the gold of the offering the they offered up to the LORD, of the capta of thoufands, and of the captains of hundre was fixteen thousand feven hundred and fhekels.

53 (For the men of war had taken p every man for himself.)

54 And Mofes and Eleazar the priest the gold of the captains of thoufands and hundreds, and brought it into the taberta of the congregation, for a memorial for children of Ifrael before the LORD.

CHA P. XXXII. The Reubenites and Gadites fue for their heritance on that fide Jordan.

Now the children of Reuben and the

dren of Gad had a very great mult of cattle: and when they faw the land zer, and the land of Gilead, that, b the place was a place for cattle;

2 The children of Gad and the chile Reuben came and Spake unto Mofes, a Eleazar the priest, and unto the p of the congregation, faying,

3 Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and rah, and Hefhbon, and Elealeh, and Shehac and Nebo, and Beon,

4 Even the country which the Logs fa before the congregation of Ifracl, if for cattle, and thy fervants have cattle.

5 Wherefore, faid they, if we have f grace in thy fight, let this land be give to thy fervants for a poffeilion, and br not over Jordan.

6 And Mofes faid unto the child Gad, and to the children of Reube your brethren go to war, and tha here?

And wherefore difcourage ye thth of the children of Ifraci from going off
