Chap. iv.

the LORD: the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the back boac; and the fat that covereth the inwards, And all the fat that is upon the inwards: 10 And the two kidneys, and the fat that It upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it thall he take away.

11 And the pricft fhall burn it upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire unto the LORD.

14 And if his offering be a goat, then he hall offer it before the LORD.

13 And he hall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the fons of Aaron thall fprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.

14 And he shall offer thereof his offering, ever an offering made by fire unto the LORD, the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards:

15 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it thall he take away.

16 And the prief thall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire, for a sweet favour. All the fat is the LORD'S.

17 It fall be a perpetual ftatute for your generations, throughout all your dwellings, that ye cat neither fat nor blood.

CHAP. IV.

The fin offering ofignorance, 3 for the priest, 13 the congregation, 22 the ruler, 27 for the people. AND the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying, 1 Speak unto the children of Ifrael, faying, If a foul thall fin through ignorance againit any of the commandments of the LORD, concerning things which ought not to be done, and fhall do against any of them:

3 If the priest that is anointed do fin according to the fin of the people; then let him bring, for his fin which he hath finned, @young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a fia-offering.

ปี 4 And he hall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD; and fhall lay his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock before the LORD,

5 And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation.

6 And the priest fhall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood feven times before the LORD, before the veil of the fanc tuary.

7 And the prieft fhall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of fweet incenfe before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation; and fhall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt-offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

And he fhall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the fin-offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that it upon the inwards;

9 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it thall he take away,

and for the congregation.

10 As it was taken off from the bullock of the facrifice of peace-offerings: and the prieft fhall burn them upon the altar of the burnt-offering.

II And the skin of the bullock, and all his fieth, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,

12 Even the whole bullock hall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place where the athes are poured out, and butn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out thall he be burnt.

13 And if the whole congregation of If. rael fin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the affembly, and they have done fomewhat again any of the com. mandments of the LORD, concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;

14 When the fin which they have finned against it is known, then the congregation hall offer a young bullock for the fin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the con. gregation.

15 And the elders of the congregation thali lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD; and the bullock thall be killed before the LORD.

16 And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock's blood to the taber. nacle of the congregation.

17 And the priest hall dip his finger in jome of the blood, and fprinkle it feven times be. fore the LORD, even before the veil.

18 And he thall put fome of the blood up¬ on the horns of the altar which is before the Lorn, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt-offering which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

19 And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.

20 And he thall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a fin-offering, fo fhall he do with this: and the priest thall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.

21 And he thall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the firft bullock: it is a fin-offering tor the congregation.

22 When a ruler hath finned, and done Jomewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God, concerning things which thould not be done, and is guilty;

23 Or if his fin wherein he hath finned come to his knowledge; he fhall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish.

24 And he thall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt-offering before the LORD: it is a fin-oftering.

25 And the priest shall take of the blood of the fin-offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and fhall pous out his blood at the bot. tom of the altar of burnt-offering.

26 And he thall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the facrifice of peace. offerings: and the prieft thall make an a tonement for him as concerning his fin, and it fhall be forgiven him.

32 And if he bring a lamb for a fin-offering, he hall bring it a female without blemish.

33 And he thall lay his band upon the head of the fin-offering, and flay it for a fin-ofter. Ing in the place where they kill the burnt-oftering.

34 And the pricft fhall take of the blood of the fin-offering with his finger, and put it up. on the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and fhall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.

35 And he thall take away all the fat there of, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the facrifice of the peace-offerings; and the priest thall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest hall make an atone ment for his fin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

CHAP. V.

Of him that concealeth his knowledge in touching of an unclean thing, 4 or in making an oath. 14 The trespass-fering in Jacrilege, 17 and in fins of ignorance. AND a foul; and hear the voice of fwearing, and is a witnefs, whether he hath feen or known of it; if he do not utter it then he shall bear his iniquity.

2 Or if a foul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcafe of an unclean heat, or a carcafe of unclean cattle, or the carcafe of unclean creeping things, and if it he hid den from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.

3 Or if he touch the uncleannefs of man, whatfoever uncleannefs it be that a man fhall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he thall de ginity.

4 Or if a foul fwear, pronouncing with bis lips to do evil, or to do good, whatfoever it be that a man thall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he thall be guilty in one of thefe.

And it fhall be, when he thall be guilty In one of these things, that he shall confefs that he hath finned in that thing.

6 Aud he thall bring his trefpafs-offering unto the LORD, for his fin which he hath finned, a female from the flock;g; and the of the goats, for a fin-oftering: priest hall make an atonement for him concerning his in.

7 And if he be not able to bring a lamba then he shall bring for his trefpafs which he hath committed, two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a fin offering, and the other for a burnt-offering.

8 And he fhall bring them unto the priest, who fhall offer that which is for the fin-offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder.

9 And he shall fprinkle of the blood of the fin-offering upon the fide of the altar; and the rest of the blood thall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a fin-offering.

10 And he hall offer the fecond for a burnt-offering, according to the manner : and the priest hall make an atonement for him, for his fin which he hath finned, and it fhall be forgiven him,

11 But if he be not able to bring two turtle doves, or two young pigeons; thea he that finned fhall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a fin offering: he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon; for it is a fin-offering.

12 Then thail he bring it to the priest, and the priest thall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a fin-offering.

13 And the prieft inall make an atonement for him, as touching his fin that he hath fin ned in one of thefe, and it thall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the pric's, as a meat-offering.

14 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, fay ing,

15 If a foul commit a trefpafs, and fin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he thall bring for his trefpafe unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy eftimation by thekels of filver, after the fhekel of the fanctuary, for a trefpafs-offering.

16 And he thall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and fhall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest thall make

an atonement for him with the ram of the trefpafs-offering, and it thall be forgiven

him

17 And if a foul fin, and commit an of these things which are forbidden to b done by the commandments of the LORD though he wift it not, yet is he guilty, an thall bear his iniquity.

18 And he thall bring a ram without mith out of the flock, with thy eftimatio for a trefpafs-offering, unto the priest: the pricft thall make an atonement for hi concerning his ignorance wherein he err and wift if not; and it shall be forgiven hi

19 It is a trefpafs-offering: he hath at tainly trefpaffed against the LORD.

Or have found that which was loft, and lieth concerning it, and fweareth falfely; in any of all thefe that a man doeth, finning therein:

Then it thall be, because he hath finned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which Be took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the loft thing which he found,

5 Or all that about which he hath sworn Fallely; he thall even rettore it in the principal, and thall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trefpafs-offering. 6 And he fall bring his trefpafs-offering unto the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy eftimation, for a tref. rafs offering, unto the priest.

7 And the priest half make an atonement for him before the LORD: and it shall be for. given him, for any thing of all that he hath done, in trefpathing therein.

8¶And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying, 9 Command Aaron and his fons, faying, This is the law of the burnt-offering: (it is the burnt-offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar thall be burning in it) 10 And the priest fhall put on his linen gar. ment, and his linen breeches thall he put upon his fieth, and take up the athes which the fire hath confumed with the burnt-offering on the altar, and he thall put them belide the altar.

21 In a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is baken thou shalt bring it in and the baken pieces of the meat-offering fhalt thou offer for a fweet favour unto the LORD.

22 And the priest of his fons, that is anoint ed in his ftead, fhall offer it: it is a ftatute for ever unto the LORD; it shall be wholly burnt:

23 For every meat-offering for the priest fhall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten. 24 And the LOR Dfpake unto Mofes,faying, 25 Speak unto Aaron and to his fons, fay. Ing, This is the law of the fin-offering: in the place where the burnt-offering is killed thall the in-offering be killed before the LORD: it is most holy.

26 The priest that offereth it for fin fhall eat it; in the holy place fhall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.

27 Whatfoever shall touch the flesh thereof fhall be holy and when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou halt wath that whereon it was fprinkled in the holy place.

28 But the earthen veffel wherein it is fodden fhall be broken: and if it be fodden in a brafen pot, it shall be both scoured and rinfed in water.

29 All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy.

30 And no fin-offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation, to reconcile withal in the ho. ly place, thall be eaten; it shall be burnt in the fire.

11 And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the hes without the camp unto a clean place, 12 And the fire upon the altar thall be Burning in it, it thall not be put out: and the pricit fhall burn wood on it every morning and lay the burnt-offering in order up-kewife this is the law of the trespass. oa it; and he thall burn thereon the fat of the peace-offerings.

CHAP. VII. 1 The law of the trefpafs-offering, 11 and af the peace-offerings. 22 The fat, 26 and the blond, are forbidden.

13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

14 And this is the law of the meat-of fering: the fons of Aaron thall offer it be. fore the LORD, before the altar.

15 And he fhall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat-offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincenfe which is upon the meat-offering, and fhall burn it upon the altar for a fweet favour, even the memorial of it, unto the LORD,

16 And the remainder thereof fhall Aaron and his fons eat: with unleavened bread fhall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.

17 It shall not be baken with leaven: I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most holy, as is the fin-offering, and as the trefpafs-offering. 18 All the males among the children of Aaron thall eat of it. 19 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying.

8 And the priest that offereth any man's burnt-offering, even the priest shall have to himself the ikin of the burnt-offering which he hath offered.

9 And all the meat-offering that is baken in the oven, and all that is dreffed in the frying-pan, and in the pan, fhall be the prief's that offereth it.

12 if he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he fhall offer with the facrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened waters anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried.

13 Bendes the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the facrifice of thanksgiving of his peace-offerings.

14 And of it he thall offer one out of the whole oblation for an heave-offering unto the LORD, and it thall be the priest's that Sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings.

15 And the fleth of the facrifice of his peaceofferings for thanksgiving thall be eaten the fame day that it is offered; he thall not leave any of it until the morning.

16 But if the facrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it thall be eaten the fame day that he offereth his facrifice: and on the morrow alfo the remainder of it hall be eaten.

17 But the remainder of the flesh of the fa. crifice on the third day fhall be burnt with fire. 18 And if any of the fleth of the facrifice of his peace-offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither thall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it fhall be an abomination, and the foul that eateth of it thall bear his iniquity.

19 And the flesh that toucheth any unclean bing fhall not be eaten, it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean thall eat thereof.

20 But the foul that eateth of the flesh of the facrifice of peace-offerings that pertain Into the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that foul thall be cut off from his people.

21 Moreover, the foul that fhall touch any

unclean thing, as the uncleann's of man, or any unclean beaft, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the fleth of the fa. crifice of peace-offerings which pertain unto the LORD, even that foul thall be cut off from his people.

22 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying, 23 Speak unto the children of Ifrael, fay ing, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, or ox, or of theep, or of goat.

24 And the fat of the beaft that dieth of itself, and the fat of that whien is torn with beasts, may be used in any other ufe; but ye shall in no wife eat of it.

25 For whofoever eateth the fat of the beat, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, even the foul that eateth i thall be cut off from his people. 26 Moreover ye fhall eat no manner of hloud, whether it be of fowl or of beaft, in any of your dwellings.

27 What foever foul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

28 And the Los pfpake unto Mofes,faying, 29 Speak unto the children of Ifrael, fay. ing, He that offereth the facrifice of his peace-offerings unto the LORD, thall bring his oblation unto the LORD of the facrifice of his peace-offerings.

30 His own hands fhall bring the offer ings of the LORD made by fire; the fat with the breaft, it shall he bring, that the breaft

34 For the wave-breast and the heavethoulder have I taken of the children of Ifrael from off the facrifices of their peace. offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest, and unto his fons, by a ftatute for ever, from among the children of Ifrael.

35 This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his fons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he prefented them to minifter unto the LORD in the pricft's office;

36 Which the LORD commanded to be given them of the children of Ifrael, in the day that he anointed them, by a ftatute for ever, throughout their generations.

37 This is the law of the burnt-offering, of the meat-offering, and of the fin-offering, and of the trefpafs-offering, and of the con fecrations, and of the facrifice of the peace. offerings,

38 Which the LORD commanded Mofes in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Ifrael to offer their oblations unto the LORD in the wilderness of Sinai.

CHA P. VIII.

ND the LORD fpake unto Mofes, laying, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the fin-offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;

3 And gather thou all the congregation together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

4 And Mofes did as the LORD commanded him; and the aflembly was gathered toge ther unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

5 And Mofes faid unto the congregation This is the thing which the LORD com manded to be done.

6 And Mofes brought Aaron and his fons and washed them with water.

7 And he put upon him the coat, and girde him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephot, and bound it unto him therewith.

8 And he put the breaft-plate upon him alfo he put in the breaft-plate the Urim and the Thunimim.

9 And he put the mitre apon his head; al fo upon the mitre, even upon his fore-front did he put the golden plate, the holy crown as the LORD commanded Mofes.

10 And Mofes took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle, and all that tea therein, and fanctified them.

11 And he fprinkled thereof upon the tar feven times, and anointed the alter,

all his veffels, both the laver and his foot, to fanctify them.

12 And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to fanctify him.

13 And Mofes brought Aaron's fons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

14 And he brought the bullock for the finoffering: and Aaron and his fons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the fin-ortering.

15 And healew it; and Mofes took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the but tom of the altar, and fanétified it, to make reconciliation upon it.

16 And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Mofes burned it upon the altar.

17 But the bullock and his hide, his flesh and his dung, be burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

18 And he brought the ram for the burntoffering: and Aaron and his fons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

19 And he killed it; and Mofes fprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

20 And be cut the ram into pieces; and Mofes burnt the head, and the pieces, and

the fat.

21 And he washed the inwards and the legs in water; and Mofes burnt the whole

Aaron's offerings.

30 And Mofes took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and fprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his fons, and upon his fons garments with him; and fanétified Aaron, and his garments, and his fons, and his fons garments with him.

31 And Mofes faid unto Aaron and to his fons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of confecrations, as I commanded, faying, Aaron and his fons thall eat it.

32 And that which remaineth of the flesh and of the bread fhall ye burn with fire.

33 And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation in feven days, until the days of your confecration be at an end for feven days fhall he confe crate you.

34 As he hath done this day, fo the LORD hath commanded to do, to make an atone. ment for you.

35 Therefore fhall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night feven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not for fo I am commanded.

36 So Aaron and his fons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Mofes.

CHAP. IX.

1,8 Aaron's fin-offering, and burnt-offering for

23 And he flew it; and Mofes took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aarou's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his fight foot.

24 And he brought Aaron's fons, and Mo fes put of the blood upon the tip of their sright ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their :fight feet; and Mofes fprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

25 And he took the fat, and the rump, and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right thoulder: 26 And out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one water, and put them on the fat, and upon the right shoulder:

27 And be put all upon Aaron's hands, and upon his fons hands, and waved them for wave-offering before the LORD.

28 And Moles took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar upon the burnt-offering; they were confecrations

3 And unto the children of Ifrael thou fhalt fpeak, faying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a fin-offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the firit year, without ble mith, for a burnt-offering;

4 Allo a bullock and a ram for peace-offerings, to facrifice before the LORD; and a meat-offering mingled with oil: for to-day the LORD will appear unto you.

5And they brought that which Mofes commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near, and ftood before the LORD.

6 And Mofes faid, This is the thing which the LORD Commanded that ye thould do; and the glory of the LORD fhall appear unto you.

7 And Mofes faid unto Aaron, Go unto

the altar, and offer thy fin-offering, and thy
burnt-offering, and make an atonement for
thyfelf and for the people: and offer the
offering of the people, and make an atone-
ment for them; as the LORD commanded.

8 Aaron therefore went unto the altar,
and new the calf of the fin-offering, which
was for himfeif.

29 And Mofes took the breaft, and waved It for a wave-offering before the LORD: for of the ram of confecration it was Mofes' part; as the LORD commanded Moses.
