20 And he made boards for the tabernacle of thittim-wood, ftanding up.

21 The length of a board was ten cubits, and the breadth of a board one cubit and a hali.

22 One board had two tenons, equally dif. tant one trom another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.

23 And he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the fouth fide fouthward: 24 And forty fockets of filver he made under the twenty boards; two fockets under one board for his two tenons, and two fockets under another board for his two tenons.

25 And for the ɔther fide of the tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he made twenty boards,

26 And their forty fockets of filver; two fockets under one board, and two fockets under another board.

27 And for the fides of the tabernacle weft ward he made fix boards.

28 And two boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the two fides.

29 And they were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the corners.

30 And there were eight boards; and their fockets were fixteen fockets of filver, under every board two fockets.

31 And he made bars of thittim-wood; five for the boards of the one fide of the tabernacle,

32 And five bars for the boards of the other fide of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the fides weftward.

33 And he made the middle bar to fhoot through the boards from the one end to the other.

34 And he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold to be places for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.

35 And he made a veil of blue, and purple, and fcarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubims made he it of cunning work.

36 And he made thereunto four pillars of fhittim-wood, and overlaid them with gold; their hooks were of gold; and he cant for them four fockets of filver.

37 And he made an hanging for the tabernacle-door of blue, and purple, and fcarlet, and fine twined linen, of needle work,

38 And the five pillars of it with their hooks: and he overlaid their chapiters and their fillets with gold: but their five fockets were of brais.

CHAP. XXXVII. The ark. 6 The mercy-feat with cherubims. 10 The table. 17 The candlestick, 25 and altar of incenfe.

AND Bezalel made the ark of this im wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it:

2 And he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a crown of gold to it round about.

4 And he made ftaves of fhittim-wood, and overlaid them with gold.

6 And he made the mercy-feat of pure gold: two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

7 And he made two cherubims of gold, beaten out of one piece made he them, on the two ends of the mercy-feat;

8 One cherub on the end on this fide, and another cherub on the other end on that fide: out of the mercy-feat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof.

9 And the cherubims fpread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the mercy-feat, with their taces one to another; even to the mercy-feat-ward were the faces of the cherubims."

10 And he made the table of hittim. wood: two cubits was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and an half the height thereof:

11 And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made thereunto a crown of gold round about.

12 Alfo he made thereunto a border of an hand-breadth round about; and made a crown of gold for the border thereof round about.

13 And he caft for it four rings of gold, and put the rings upon the four corners that were in the four feet thereof.

14 Over against the border were the rings, the places for the ftaves to bear the table. 15 And he made the ftaves of thittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table.

16 And he made the veffels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his fpoons, and his bowls, and his covers to cover withal, of pure gold.

17 And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick: his thaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the fame:

18 And fix branches going out of the fides thereof; three branches of the candle ftick out of the one fide thereo', and three branches of the candlestick out of the other fide thereof:

19 Three bowls made after the fashion o almonds in one branch, a knop and a flower and three bowls made like almonds in ano ther branch, a knop and a flower: fo through. out the fix branches going out of the candle tick.

20 And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops and his flowers:

21 And a knop under two branches of the fame, and a knop under two branches of the fame, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the fix branches going

Out of it.

22 Their knops and their branches were of the fame: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold.

23 And he made his feven lamps, and bi fnuiters, and his fnuff-dithes, of pure gold. 24 of a talent of pure gold made heit, and all the vessels thereof.

25And he made the incenfe altar of hittim-wood: the length of it was a cubit, No and the breadth of it a cubit, (it was fourfemre,) and two cubits was the height of 5; the horns there were of the fame.

26 And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the fides thereot round about, and the horns of it: alfo he made unto it a crown of gold round about.

27 And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two cor. ners of it, upon the two fides thereof, to be 4 places for the faves to bear it withal.

28 And he made the ftaves of thittimwood, and overlaid them with gold.

20 And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incenfe of fweet fpices, accord. ing to the work of the apothecary.

21 This is the fum of the tabernacle, even of the tabernacle of teftimony, as it was counted, according to the commandment of Mofes, for the fervice of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, fon to Aaron the priest.

CHAP. XXXVIII. The altar of burnt-offering. 8 The laver of bras. 9 The court. 21 The sum of the offerings. AND he made the altar of burnt-offering the LORD commanded Mofes.

2 And he made the horas thereof on the four corners of it; the horns thereof were of the fame and he overlaid it with brass. 3 And he made all the veffels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the bafons, and the fleth-hooks, and the fire-pans; all the veffels thereof made he of brafs.

And he made for the altar a brafen grate of net-work, under the compafs thereof, be

geath unto the midst of it.

And he caft four rings for the four ends of the grate of brafs, to be places for the ftaves. 6And he made the ftaves of fhittim-wood, and overlaid them with brass.

1 And he put the ftaves into the rings on the fides of the altar, to bear it withal: he made the altar hollow with boards. 8And he made the laver of brafs, and the foot of it of brafs, of the looking-glaffes of the men affembling, which affembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 9And he made the court: on the fouth fide, fouthward, the hangings of the court were of fine twined linen, an hundred cubits, to Their pillars were twenty, and their brafen fockets twenty: the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of filver.

11 And for the north fide the hangings were en hundred cubits, their pillars were twenty, and their fockets of brafs twenty: the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of filver.

12 And for the wet fide were hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their fockets ten: the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of filver.

13 And for the eaft fide, eaftward, fifty cubits.

14 The hangings of the one fide of the gate were fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their fockets three.

On this hand and that hand were hangings this for the other fide of the court-gate, of fifteen cubits, and their pillars three, and

their fockets three.

22 And Bezaleel, the fon of Uri, the fon of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that

23 And with him was Aholiab, fon of Ahifamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, and a cunning workman, and an embroi derer in blue, and in purple, and in fcarlet, and fine linen.

24 All the gold that was occupied for the work, in all the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and feven hundred and thirty thekels, after the thekel of the fanctuary.

25 And the filver of them that were numbered of the congregation was an hundred talents, and thousand feven hundred and three core and fitteen hekels, after the the kel of the fanctuary.

26 A bekah for every man, that is, half hekel, after the thekel of the fanctuary, for every one that went to be pumbered, from twenty years old and upward, for fix hundred thousand and three thousand and five hun dred and fifty men.

27 And of the hundred talents of filver were caft the fockets of the fanctuary, and the fockets of the veil; an hundred fockets of the hundred talents, a talent for a focket.

28 And of the thoufand feven hundred

filleted them.

29 And the brafs of the offering was fe

30 And therewith he made the fockets to the door of the tabernacle of the congrega. tion, and the brafen altar, and the brafen grate for it, and all the veffels of the altar.

31 And the fockets of the court round about, and the fockets of the court-gate, and all the pins of the tabernacle, and all the pins of the court round about.

CHAP. XXXIX.

The clothes of Service and holy garments. 2 The ephod. 8 The breaft-plate. 22 The robe of the ephod, and other garments. AND of the blue and purple, and fearlet,

they made clothes of service, to da fer vice in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaion; as the LORD command

4 They made thoulder-pieces for it, to Couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.

5 And the curious girdle of his ephod, that was upon it, was of the fame, according to the work thereof, of gold, blue, and purple, and fearlet, and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

6 And they wrought onyx-ftones in clofed in ouches of gold, graven as fignets are graven, with the names of the children of Ifrael.

7 And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod, that they should be ftones for a memorial to the children of Ifrael; as the LORD commanded Moses.

8 And he made the breaft-plate of cun. ning work, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

9 It was tour-fquare; they made the breaftplate double: a pan was the length thereof, and a fpaa the breadth thereof, being doubled. 10 An: they fet in it four rows of ftones; the first row was a fardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this was the first row.

11 And the fecond row, an emerald, a fapphire, and a diamond.

12 And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyft.

13 And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jafper: they were inclofed in ouches of gold in their inclouings.

14 And the ftones were according to the names of the children of Ifrael, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a fignet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.

15 Andthey made uponthebreaft-plate chains at the ends, of wreathen work of pure gold. 16 And they made two ouches of gold, and two gold rings: and put the two rings in the two ends of the breath-plate.

17 And they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breaft-plate.

18 And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fattened in the two ouches, and put them on the thoulder-pieces of the ephod

betore it.

19 And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breaftplate, upon the border of it, which was on the fide of the ephod inward.

20 And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two fides of the ephod underneath, toward the fore-part of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.

21 And they did bind the breaft-plate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breaft-plate might not be loofed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

22 And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.

23 And there was a hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.

24 And they made upon the hems of the robe romegranates of blue, and purple, and (carlet, and twined linen.

ephod, and breall-plate. 25 And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates up on the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;

26 A bell and a pomegranate, a beH and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minifter in; as the LORD commanded Moles.

27 And they made coats of fine linen, of woven work, for Aaron, and for his fons; 28 And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen;

29 And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and fcarlet, of needle. work; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a fignet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

31 And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to faften it on high upon the mitre; as the LORD Commanded Mofes

32 Thus was all the work of the taber. nacle of the tent of the congregation finish ed and the children of Ifrael did according to all that the LORD commanded Mofes, fo did they.

33 And they brought the tabernacle un to Mofes, the tent and all his turniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and bis fockets,

34 And the covering of rams skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the veil of the covering,

35 The ark of the teftimony, and the flaves thereof, and the mercy-feat,

36 The table, and all the veffels thereof, and the thew-bread,

37 The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be fet in order, and all the veffels thereof, and the oil for light,

38 And the golden altar, and the anoint ing oil, and the fweet incenfe, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,

39 The brafen altar, and his grate of bras, his faves, and all his veffels, the laver and his foot,

40 The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his fockets, and the hanging for the court-gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the veffels of the fervice of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,

41 The clothes of fervice to do fervic in the holy place, and the holy garment for Aaron the priest, and his fons' garments to minister in the prieft's office.

42 According to all that the LORD com manded Moies; fo the children of Ifrae made all the work.

43 And Moies did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lost had commanded, even fo had they doue ; and Mofes bleffed them.

CHA P. XL. 1 The tabernacle is commended to be rearte, 9 and anointed. 13 Aaron and his fons to be Sanctified.

AND the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying 2 On the first day of the first mont halt thou fet up the tabernacle of the test of the congregation;

3. And thou halt put therein the ark of the teflimony, and cover the ark with the ve

Chap. I.

And thou shalt bring in the table, and fet in order the things that are to be fet Vin order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof. * $ And thou shalt fet the altar of gold for the Incense before the ark of the teftimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle. And thou halt fet the altar of the burntoffering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

And thou shalt fet the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and that put water therein.

8 And thou shalt fet up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the courtgate.

9 And thou halt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and fhalt hallow it, and all the vef fels thereof: and it fhall be holy.

10 And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt-offering, and all his veffels, and fanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar moit holy 11 And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and fanctify it.

12 And thou shalt bring Aaron and his foss unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

13 And thon fhalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and fanctify him: that he may minifter unto me in the prieft's

office.

14 And thou shalt bring his fons, and clothe them with coats:

Is And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didit anoint their father, that they may miniter unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing thall furely be an everlafting prieft hood, throughout their generations.

16 Thus did Mofes: according to all that the Loxo commanded him, fo did he.

17 And it came to pafs, in the first month, in the fecond year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was rear. ed up.

18 And Mofes reared up the tabernacle, and fattened his fockets, and fet up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up bis pillars.

19 And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moles.

10 And he took and put the teftimony into the ark, and fet the faves on the ark, and put the mercy-feat above upon the ark.

A cloud covereth it. 21 And he brought the ark into the taber nacle, and fet up the veil of the covering, and covered the ark of the teftimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.

22 And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the fide of the tabernacle northward, without the veil.

23 And he fet the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Mofes.

24 And he put the candlestick in the tent
of the congregation, over against the table.
on the fide of the tabernacle fouthward.

25 And he lighted the lamps before the
LORD; as the LORD commanded Mofes.
26 And he put the golden altar in the
tent of the congregation before the veil.

27 And he burnt fweet incenfe thereon;
as the LORD commanded Mofes,

28 And he fet up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.

20 And he put the altar of burnt-offering by the door or the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt-offering, and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

30 And he fet the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.

31 And Mofes, and Aaron, and his fons, wathed their hands and their feet thereat.

32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Mofes.

33 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar. and fet up the hanging of the court-gate: fo Mofes finithed the work.

34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD fil led the tabernacle.

35 And Mofes was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Ifrael went onward in all their journeys:

37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not, till the day that it was taken up.

38 For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the fight of all the houfe of Ifrael, throughout all their journeys.

↑ And the fons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire.

8 And the priests, Aaron's fons, fhall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar.

9 But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt-facrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet favour unto the LORD.

10 And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the theep, or of the goats, for a burnt-facrifice: he thall bring it a male with out blemish.

And he hall kill it on the fide of the altar northward before the LORD: and, the priests, Aaron's fons, thall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.

12 And he thall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat; and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar.

13 But he fhall wath the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest thall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt-facrifice, an offering made by fire, of a fweet favour unto the LORD.

14 And if the burnt-facrifice for his offering to the LORD he of fowls, then he fhall bring his offering of turtle-doves, or of young pigeons.

15 And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring of his head, and burn it on the altar: and the blood thereof thall be wrung out at the fide of the altar.

16 And he fhall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and caft it befide the altar, on the eaft part, by the place of the ashes.

17 And he fhall cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder: and

8 And thou shalt bring the meat-offerin that is made of thefe things unto the LORD: ane when it is prefented unto the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar.

9 And the pricft shall take from the meat. offering a men.orial thereof, and thall burn it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet favour unto the LORD.

10 And that which is left of the meat-offer. Ing fall be Aaron's and his fons: it is a thing molt holy, or the-offerings of the LORD made by fire.

11 No meat-offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, thall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.

12 As for the oblation of the firft-fruits, ye thall offer them unto the LORD: but they thall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet sa your.

13 And every oblation of thy meat-offering shalt thou feafon with falt; neither halt thou futter the falt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat-offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer falt.

14 And if thou offer a meat-offering of thy firf-fruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meat-offering of thy firft-fruits, green ears of cornedried by the fire, even corn beat en out of full ears.

15 And thou shalt put oil upon it, and lay frankincenfe thereon it is a meat-offering

16 And the priest fhall burn the memoria of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the frankin cenfe thereof: it is an offering made by fit unto the LORD.

CHAP. III.

The peace-offering of the herd, 6 of t flock, either a lamb, 12 or a goat.

ND when any will offer a meat-offering

ther it be a male or female, he thall offer without blemish before the LORD.

2 And he thall lay his hand upon the he of his offering, and kill it at the door of th tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron fons the priests fhall fprinkle the blood up

the altar round about.

3 And he fhall offer of the facrifice of

A unto the LORD, his offering whall be of peace-offering, an offering made by fire un

fine flour; and he thall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon.

2 And he thall bring it to Aaron's fons the priests: and he shall take thercout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincenfe thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet favour unto the LORD.

3 And the remnant of the meat-offering ball be Aaron's and his fons: it is a thing moft holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

4And if thou bring an oblation of a meatoffering baken in the oven, it fall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.

5And if thy oblation be a meat-offering baken in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.

6 Thou shalt part it in pieces, and pour oil thereon: it is a meat-offering.

7 And if thy oblation be a meat-offering biken in the frying-pan, it thall be made of fine flour with oil,

the LORD, the fat that covereth the wards, and all the fat that is upon the wards:

4 And the two kidneys, and the fat tat is on them, which is by the flanks, and caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it fall he take away.

5 And Aaron's fons shall burn it on the star upon the burnt-facrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire; it is an offerin made by fire, of a fweet favour unto the Le

6 And if his offering, for a facrifice peace-offering unto the LORD, be of t Hock, male or female; he thall offer it wit out blemish.

If he offer a lamb for his offering, th fhall he offer it before the LORD.

8 And he fhall lay his hand upon the of his offering, and kill it before the ta nacle of the congregation: and Aaron's thall fprinkle the blood thereof round upon the altar.
