34. To us there is but one Lord Jesus Christ. 1 though he be Cor. viii. 6. Grace, which is by one man Jesus yet he is not Christ, hath abounded. Rom. v. 15. God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Acts ii. 36.

One, not by conversion of the Godhead into flesh, but by taking of the Manhood into God; one altogether, not by confusion of Substance, but by unity of person. For as the reasonable soul and flesh is one man, so God and inan is one Christ.
