The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him. Psal. ciii. 17. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. 1 John i. 9. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins. Eph. i. 7. Have mercy upon me, O God, according unto thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Psal. li. 1. 9. For thy name's sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great. Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sin. Psal. xxv. 11. 18 Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
