VEDAS.

VAJASANEYISAMHITA. (Continued.)

(II.-V.) 203-1000. (VI.) 1001-1182, 1-6, 1-21. (VII.) 1-166, 185, 186, 195-98, lith. falfa 909 [Biswán, near Muttra, 1871-74]. 4°

Fasc. vii. was published to replace the corresponding pages in Fasc. i. of which consequently only 30 pages are declared correct, viz. 167–84, 187–94, 199-202. The "Life" of the Editor, begun in Fasc. i. pp. 1-8, has remained a fragment and is dropped in the second issue altogether. From the data given there it appears that the second title of the commentary is chosen in remembrance of the name of the author's eldest brother. That it is merely a translation of Mahídhara's Vedadípa, is not expressly acknowledged. VISACHADATTO.
