A small deputation of ladies waited upon Mr. Seddon, Premier of New Zealand, at the Hotel Cecil yesterday morning, and expressed to the right hon. gentleman their gratitude for the manner in which he had called the attention of the English public to the successful practical working of women's suffrage - in his colony. Mrs. Fawcett, who introduced the deputation, admitted that the prospects of the cause were s not at present very brilliant.
