The Lord is in his holy temple: the Lord's throne is in heaven.-Ps. xi. 4.

The heavens declare the glory of God: the firmament sheweth his handy-work.-Ps. xix. 1.

The kingdom is the Lord's: and he is the Governor among the nations. -Ps. xxii. 28; xlvii. 2. 7.

Who is the King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory.

Destruction from God was a terror-Ps. xxiv. 10. to me and by reason of his highness, I could not endure.-Job xxxi. 23; Isa. xiii. 3; xxviii. the whole.

God is greater than man: why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters. Job xxxiii. 12, 13; ix. 12; Jer. xlix. 19; Job xxi. 22.

The Lord said unto Job, &c. Where wast thou when I laid the foundations

The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful, (or power;) the voice of the Lord is full of majesty: the voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars, &c. The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.-Ps. xxix. 3— 8. 10.

By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, &c. He spake and it was done he commanded, and it stood fast. The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people to be of none effect. The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever; the thoughts of his heart to all generations.-Ps. xxxiii. 6-11; Isa. xiv. 27; Ps. civ. 2, &c.; Zech. xii. 1.

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised.-Ps. xlviii. 1; Ï. 11.

Verily, he is a God who judgeth in | art great, and doest wondrous things: the earth.-Ps. lviii. 11.

Let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.-Ps. lix. 13; Isa. lx. 16; Ps. xlvii. 2. 7; lxvi. 7.

He that is our God, is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death. To him who rideth upon the heaven of heavens, &c. His excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds. O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places, &c.-Ps. lxviii. 20. 33-35.

The Lord is a great God, and a Promotion cometh not from the great King above all gods: in his east, &c. but God, the Judge, he put-hand are the deep places of the earth, teth down one, and setteth up an- &c.-Ps. xcv. 3-5; xcvi. 4, 5; xcvii. other.-Ps. lxxv. 6, 7. 9; cxxxv. 5, &c.

In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel. Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey. At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, the chariot and horse are cast into a deep sleep. Thou, thou art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry? I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works and men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts; and I will declare thy greatness. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. Ps. cxlv. 5, 6. 13.

Yea, before the day was, I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? I have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.-Isa. xliii. 13. 15, 16. 28.
