of God's ancient people, as containing many useful leffons; we may now turn our attention to Scripture-Hiftory in general, as confirming or illuftrating the doctrines of revelation. And so abundant is the evidence, which God is pleafed to give us of the truth of thefe, that fcarcely one of them wants this atteftation.-It is only a few of the more important doctrines that we can propofe to illuftrate in this manner.
