IV. Deliverance from War and ENEMIES. Deut. xx. 4. The LORD your

God Deliverance is he that goeth with you, to fight for from War.

Deut. xxiii. 14. Job. v. 20. In war he shall redeem thee from the power of the sword.

Pf. lx. 12. Through God we shall do valiantly ; for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

2 Chron. xiii. 12. Behold GOD himself is with us for our captain.

Prov. iii. 25. Be not afraid of sudden fear, nor of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.

Ver. 26. For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

If. xli. 11. Behold all they that were incensed against thee, shall be ashamed and confounded : they Thall be as nothing, and they that strive with thee shall perish.


Ver. 12. Thou shall seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee. They that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

Il. xxv. 5. Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers as the heat in a dry place ; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud : the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.

IJ. liv. 17. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper ; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment, thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, faith the LORD.

Exod. xxii. 26. If thou at all take thy neighbour's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it to him by that the sun goeth down.

Ver. 27. For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin : Wherein shall he sleep? And it Thall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear ; for I am gracious.
