that mourn in Zion: to give unto them beauty for ashes; the oil of joy for mourning; the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.

Behold my servant, whom I uphold: mine elect in whom my soul delighteth: I have put my spirit upon him he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

A bruised reed shall he not break; and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

Thus saith God the Lord, He that created the Heavens and stretched them out; He that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it: He that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

I the Lord have called thee in righteousness; and will hold thine hand; and will keep thee; and give thee for a covenant of the people; for a light of the Gentiles:

To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison-house.

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord: my soul shall be joyful in my God: for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation.

For as the earth bringeth forth her bud; and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth: so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all

nations.

ISAIAH LIII.

Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?

He is despised and rejected of men: a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid, as it were, our faces from him: he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions: he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him: and with his stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray we have turned every one to his own way: and the Lord hath laid on him, the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.

Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him: He hath put him to grief.

When Thou shalt make his soul an offering for

sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his

hand.

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many: for he shall bear their iniquities.

Hallelujah!

REV. IV., XI.

For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. The Kingdoms of this world are become: the Kingdoms of our God and of His Christ: And He shall reign for ever and for ever.

We give Thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty: which art, and wast, and art to come: King of Kings, and Lord of Lords: Because Thou hast taken to Thee Thy great power: and hast reigned. Salvation unto our God who sitteth upon the throne and unto the Lamb.

Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving and honour, and power, and might: Be unto our God: for ever and ever. Hallelujah! Amen.

REV. IV., XV.

Holy, holy, holy: Lord God Almighty:
Which wast, and art, and art to come:

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory, and honour, and power:

For Thou hast created all things: and for Thy pleasure, they are and were created.

Great and marvellous are Thy works: O Lord God Almighty.

Just and true are all Thy ways: Thou King of Saints.

Who shall not fear Thee, O Lord: and glorify Thy name for Thou only art holy.

All nations shall come and worship before Thee. Praise our God, all ye His servants :

And ye that fear Him, both small and great.
For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth: King of
Kings, and Lord of Lords.

We give Thee thanks: Lord God Almighty:
Which art, and wast, and art to come:
Blessing and honour, and glory and power;
Be unto Him, that sitteth upon the throne:
And unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Amen.

2 CHRON. VI.

O Lord God of Israel,

There is no God like Thee in the Heaven, nor in the earth;

Which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto Thy servants,

That walk before Thee with all their hearts.

But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth?

Behold, Heaven and the Heaven of Heavens cannot contain Thee: how much less this house which we have built!

Have respect therefore to the prayer of thy servants;

And to their supplication, O Lord our God,
To hearken unto the cry and the prayer
Which Thy servants pray before Thee.

What prayer or what supplication soever shall be made of any man; or of all Thy people Israel, When every one shall know his own sore and his own grief,

And shall spread forth his hands in this house : Hear, Thou, from Thy dwelling-place, even from Heaven;

And when Thou hearest, forgive. Amen.

Now, our God, let, we beseech Thee, Thine eyes be open, and let Thine ears be attent: unto the prayer that is made in this place.

Now, therefore arise, O Lord God, into Thy resting place: Thou, and the ark of Thy strength: Let Thy priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation :

And let Thy saints rejoice in goodness. Amen.
