The majesty on high.

4 Pray'r is the Christian's vital breath, The Christian's vital air,

His watchword at the gate of death-
He enters heav'n by pray'r.

5 Pray'r is the contrite sinner's voice Returning from his ways,

While angels in their songs rejoice,
And cry "behold he prays.”
