"Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they 10 may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great 11 army. Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; 12) we are clean cut off. Therefore prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, O my people; and I will bring you into the 13) land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, and 'caused' you Ito come up out of your graves, O my 14) people. And I will put my 'spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I will place you in your own land: 'and' ye shall know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

The word of the LORD came again 16 unto me, saying, "And thou, son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his com17 panions and join them for thee' one

And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations', whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: 22 and I will make them one nation in the land, upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two 23 kingdoms any more at all: neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them "out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them so shall they be my people, and 24) I will be their God. And my servant David shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgements, and observe my statutes, and do them. (25) °And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children's children, for ever and David my servant shall 26 be their prince for ever. °Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them: it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for 27 evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 28 And the 'nations' shall know that I Jam the LORD that sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy hordes', and the 'peoples' that are with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the 5 field to be devoured. Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have 6 spoken it, saith the Lord GOD. And I will send a fire on Magog, and 'on' them that dwell securely in the 1isles and they shall know that I 7) am the LORD. And my holy name will I make known in the midst of my people Israel; neither will I suffer my holy name to be profaned' any more: and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One 8 in Israel. Behold, it cometh', and it shall be done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I 9) have spoken. And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall make fires of the weapons and burn 'them', both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall make fires 10 of them seven years: so that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall make fires of the weapons: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place for burial in Israel, the valley of 'them that pass through on the east of the sea and it shall stop them that pass through: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of 12 Hamon-gog. And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse 13 the land. "Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown, in the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord 14 GOD. And they that pass through the land 'shall pass through; and when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the val16) ley of Hamon-gog. "And 'Hamonah shall also be the name of a city. Thus shall they cleanse the land. 17 And thou, son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD: Speak unto the birds of every 'sort', and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh and drink blood. 18 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings 19 of Bashan. And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which 20 I have sacrificed for you. And the 'nations' shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity; because they trespassed against me, and I hid my face from them: Iso I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they fell all of 24 them by the sword. According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions 'did' I unto them; and I hid my face from them.

our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day, the hand of the LORD was upon me, 2 and he brought me thither. In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me down' upon a very high mountain, whereon! was as it were the frame of a city 3 on the south. And he brought me thither, and behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; 4 and he stood in the gate. And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.
