his servant, so did Moses command Joshua : and so did Joshua; 'he left nothing undone of all that the LORD

commanded Moses. 16) So Joshua took all that land, the

and smote them, and put them ito 18 death! Joshua made war a long (19) time with all those kings. "There

was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites

the inhabitants of Gibeon: they took (20) all in battle. °For it was of the LORD

to Sharden their hearts, "tol come against Israel in battle, that he might futterly destroy them, that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded

Moses. 21) And Joshua came at that time, and

cut off the 'Anakimi from the 'hill country!, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the hill country of Judah, and from all the Thill country of Israel : Joshua Rut

from the top of the mountain' unto the fountain of the Iwaters of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was

ing to their families. 13 And unto Caleb the son of Je

phunneh he gave a 'portioni among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even 31 Kiriathl-arba, which
