THESE First Grade Free-hand Drawing Books have been designed by a practical Art-Teacher to prepare the Scholars in Public Elementary Schools for the Examinations of the Science and Art Department. The Books hitherto used are not as a rule sufficiently simple for scholars in the lower classes, nor sufficient in number to admit of more than a very imperfect attempt at graduation. These Books contain 192 carefully graduated copus, and numerous aids are given in the earlier numbers, making them specially suitable for beginners.
