THE subject of Muhammadanism and its founder has been treated by various authors, continental and British. Mill (author of Muhammadismum ante Muhammaden'), Prideaux, Gagnier, Gibbon, White, Mill (author of the 'Hist. Crusades'), and Forster (author of Muhammadanism Unveiled'), may be mentioned as the most esteemed English writers upon this curious object of research.
