That saw the Lord arise,
And these rejoicing eyes.
2. The King himself comes near,
And feasts his saints to day,
And love, and praise, and pray.
3. One day amidst the place
Where God himself hath been,
Of pleasurable sin.
4. My willing soul would stay
In such a frame as this,
To everlasting bliss.
Minister.-Let us Pray.
Minister.-0 Lord God of grace and mercy and peace, we come before thee in the name of Jesus Christ. He died for our sins, he rose for our justification; his blood cleanseth from all sin; and he ever liveth to make intercessiou for us. We confess before thee, O God, that we are sinful and unrighteous, and ungodly, and wholly corrupted in thy sight. Have mercy upon us, o our God, and through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, absolve us from all our guilt; receive us as perfect in the perfection of Christ; and enable us to rejoice in the hope of that glory which thou hast set before us.
Congregation.—0 God of all grace, we come to thee in the name of Christ : parrlon us, O Lord, and receive us in his name.
Minister.-Almighty God, thou hast declared to us in thy word, that every one who enjoys the hope of being eternally in thy presence in happiness and glory, cleanseth himself from all ungodliness and earthly desires, and aspireth to be pure and holy, in imitation of thy Adorable Self. O Lord God, give us thy Spirit, that these principles, and the corresponding deeds, may be found in us in full effect. ' let us endeavour and constantly, and most earnestly, to cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and of the spirit, and let us perfect holiness in the fear of God.
Congregation.—Most Holy God, make us holy, we beseech thee, for thou art holy.
Minister.-All Gracious Father, we bless and magnify thy name for all the means thou last provided for our instruction and holiness. O let these means hare due and full effect upon us.
Lord God, save us, we bescech thee, from being like the ground which receives the rain of heaven,
yet brings forth no fruit, but produces only briars and thorns. Olet it be otherwise with us : let us be like the fields which drink in the rain that comes upon them, and bring forth
