The Byerlys of Carolina, Volume 1Economy Print. Company, 1960 - 69 pages John Jacob Byerly (d. ca. 1771) and his family, emigrated from the Palatinate of Germany, ca. 1750 and settled first in Pennsylvania, then followed the German migration to North Carolina. He and his wife, Mary Elizabeth, had at least six children, ca. 1745-before 1760. John Jacob and Mary Elizabeth Byerly are buried at the Beck's Church Cemetry, Rowan County, North Carolina. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Illinois, Indiana and elsewhere. |
