To the Trustees of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America, and to their Successors and Assigns, I give the sum of: OR, I devise a certain messuage and tract of land, &c. to be added to their permanent fund; and the clear profits applied to the general uses of the fund, under the direction of the said Assembly: OR, to be applied toward spreading the gospel on the frontiers of the United States, under the direction of the said Assembly: OR, toward civilizing and instructing, in arts and religion, the Indians of North America, under the direction of the said Assembly; OR, toward the support of the Theological Seminary established by the Assembly; according as the pleasure of the testator shall be: who may designate any other object of piety or charity; and the Corporation are bound, by charter, to apply the donation accordingly. THE above form may be used by a Testator residing in the state of Pennsylvania, where the Trustees of the General Assembly have been incorporated; but in the other states of the Union the following form is recommended, viz. In Cases of Real Estate. I give and devise unto A. B. and C. D. the survivors and survivor of them, and the heirs of such survivor, (describe the real estate,) for the use of, and in trust for, the Trustees of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church, to be applied towards spreading the Gospel among the destitute, or the Heathen; or to be applied. to the use of the Theological Seminary of the said church, now located at Princeton, New Jersey. In Cases of Personal Estate. I give and bequeath unto (as above, excepting instead of the heirs of such survivor say,) executors, administra tors and assigns, of such survivor.
