Tamar beareth & ppins of his friend the Adullamite, to receiv his pledge from the womans hand: b he found her not. 21 Then he asked the men of that plac faying, Where is the harlot that was oper ly by the way- fide? And they faid, The was no harlot in this place. 22 And he returned to Judah, and fai I cannot find her; and alfo the men the place faid, that there was no harlot this place. 23 And Judah faid, Let her take it her, left we be fhamed: behold, I fe this kid, and thou haft not found her. 24.
