5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. 7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. 8 Either what woman having ten

12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion 3 of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them f his living.

13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. 14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat and no man 5 gave unto him 5. 17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I ẞ perish ẞ with hunger!

18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 B And B am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

1 The parable of the unjust steward. 14 Christ reproveth the hypocrisy of the covetous PhariBees. 19 The rich glutton, and Lazarus the beygar.

ND he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted1 his goods.

2 And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account? of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.

3 Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.

4 3I am resolved 3 what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses. 5 So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord? 6 And he said, An hundred measures Betus in the of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty. 7 Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred 5 measures 5 of wheat. 18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth 1 her that is put away from her husband 14 committeth adultery.

1915 There was 15 a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and 16 fared 16 sumptuously every day: 20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21 And desiring to be fed with ẞ the crumbs which fellß from the rich man's table: 17 moreover the dogs 17 18 came and licked 18 his sores.

22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23 And in 19 hell 19 he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime 20 receivedst 20 thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is ß comforted, and thou art tormented.

26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: 21 so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot 1; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

13 And the 7 publican 7, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me 9 a sinner 9.

14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified Brather than the other 8: for every one that exalteth himself shall be 10 abased 10; and he that 10 humbleth 10 himself shall be exalted.

15 And they brought unto him also 11 infants 11, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for * of such is the kingdom of God.

17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
