1. Upon account, for defraying the charge of the pay and cloathing of the militia, for one year, beginning the 25th of March 1765

To replace to the finking fund, the like fum paid out of the fame, to make good the deficiency, on the 5th of July 1764, of the several rates and duties upon offices and penfions, and upon houses, and upon windows or lights, which were made a fund, by an act of the thirty-firft of his late majefty, for paying annuities at the bank, in respect of five millions borrowed, towards the fupply of 1758

3. To replace to ditto, the like fum paid out of the fame, to make good the deficiency on the 10th of October 1764, of the feveral additional duties upon wines imported, and certain duties upon cyder and perry, which were made a fund, by an act of the third of his prefent majesty, for paying annuities in refpect of 35000001. borrowed towards the supply for 1763

4. To replace to ditto, the like fum issued thereout, for paying annuities after the rate of 41. per cent. for the year ending the 29th of September 1764, granted in refpect of certain navy, victualling, and tranfport bills, and ordnance debentures, delivered in and cancelled, pursuant to an act of the third of his prefent majefty

MARCH 28.

1. That one fourth part of the capital stock of annuities, after the rate of 41. per cent. per ann. granted in respect of certain navy, victualling, and tranfport bills, and ordnance debentures, delivered in and cancelled, purfuant to an act of the third of his prefent majefty's reign, be redeemed and paid off on the 25th of December next, after difcharging the intereft then payable in respect of the fame.

APRIL 2.

1. Upon account, towards difcharging fuch unfatis fied claims and demands, for expences incurred during the late war in Germany, as appear to be due by the reports of the commiffioners, appointed by his majesty, for examining and ftating fuch claims and demands

2. Upon account, out of the monies remaining to be applied of the exceedings of the feveral fums provided by parliament for fundry fervices, and of the monies that have been paid into the hands of the paymaster - general, by contractors and others, to the 23d of March 1765, towards difcharging fuch unfatisfied claims and deinands

3. For paying a bounty, for 1765, of 2s. 6d. per day, to fifteen chaplains, and of 2s. per day. to fifteen more chaplains, who have served longest on board his majefty's fhips of war; provided it appears by the books of the faid fhips, that they have been actually borne and muffered thereon,

for the space of four years, during the late war with France and Spain; and provided likewife, that fuch chaplains do not enjoy the benefit of fome ecclefiaftical living, or preferment from the crown, or otherwise, of the present annual value of 50 1.

4. Upon account, towards enabling the governors and guardians of the foundling hofpital, to maintain and educate, or to place out as apprentices, fuch children as were received into the faid hofpital on or before the 25th of March 1760, from the 31st of December 1764, exclufive, to the 31st of December 1765, inclufive; and that the fame be iffued and applied, for the ufe of the faid hofpital, without fee or reward, or any deduction whatsoever

APRIL 20.

1. To be employed in maintaining and fupporting the British forts and fettlements upon the coaft of Africa, and putting the faid forts into better repair

2. For building a blockhouse at or near Cape Appolonia, on the coast of Africa

3. For defraying the charge of three in-dependent companies of foot, to be raised for his majefty's fervice, on the coaft of Africa; and for provifions for the fame; from the 25th of December 1764, to the 24th of December 1765, both days inclufive; being 365 days

4. Upon account, for defraying the charges of a civil etablishment, upon that part of the coast of Africa, fituate between the port of Sallee, in South Barbary, and Cape Rouge, for 1765

1. To make good to his Majefty the like fum, which hath been iffued by his majesty's orders, in pursuance of the addreffes of this houfe

JANUARY 24. HAT the annual malt duty be continued from the 23d of June 1765, to the 24th of June 1766, 750,000l.

JANUARY 29. That the land tax of 4s. in the pound be continued for one year, from the 25th of March 1765, 2,037,8541. 195. 11d.

FEB. 7. No lefs than fifty-five refolutions of the committee of ways and means were agreed to by the houfe, for impofing much the fame Stamp duties upon the British colonies and plantations in America as are payable here in England; to be paid into the receipt of his majefty's exchequer; and there referved, to be, from time to time, difpofed of by parliament, towards further defraying the neceffary expences of defending, protecting, and fecuring the faid colonies and plantations.

FEB. 16.

1. That for the better fupply of our export trade to Africa, with fuch coarse printed callicoes and other goods, being the product or manufacture of the Eaft Indies, or of other places beyond VOL, VIII.

the Cape of Good Hope as are prohibited to be worn in Great Britain, the East India company be permitted to import the fame from any part of Europe not within his majefty's dominions, under proper limitations and restrictions.

2. That upon failure of the faid company's keeping the faid export trade fupplied with a fufficient quantity of fuch callicoes and other goods, other perfons be permitted to import the fame into this kingdom, from any fuch part of Europe, under proper limitations and

reftrictions.

3. That the faid callicoes and other goods, which fhall be fo imported, be liable to pay the fame duties as if the fame were imported by the faid company from the Eaft Indies, or any other place beyond the Cape of Good Hope, ' and no other.

4. That the bounty allowed by law, to be paid on the exportation of corn, grain, malt, meal, and flour, from Great Britain to the Idle of Man, be difcontinued.

5. That a ftamp duty of 10s. be charged upon every piece of vellum or parchment, or sheet or piece of paper, on which every licence for making and felling meafures of capacity fhall be ingroffed, written, or printed.
