ReviewsUser reviewsUser Review - Flag as inappropriate This is an excellent introduction to bioethics! It provides not only a solid coverage of topics (abortion, prenatal genetics, assisted reproductive technologies, withholding treatment, informed consent, physician assisted death, etc.), which is typical of introductory books, but also coverage of methods of ethical analysis and the historical context in which the topics and methods arose. The result is a far more sophisticated "introduction" for the more advanced student. The book would work very well for advanced undergraduates, and for graduate and professional students who need the basics but want a subtler approach.
